Residential Carers work collaboratively to provide a safe and nurturing home for young people. Each of our homes adopts a therapeutic approach to supporting young people to heal and recover from the effects of abuse, neglect and separation from family. Working with some of the most vulnerable young people in our community, Residential Carers are passionate about helping vulnerable young people thrive.
They support young people in many ways including building links with their own families, culture and communities (where appropriate); connecting to school or other education; supporting the development of their independent living skills; undertaking household duties; and engaging in administrative tasks such as updating reports and records.
